Behest of IQAC, BALANGA COLLEGE, BALANGA, PURI, an Induction program is organized for the Degree FRESHERS of Arts, Science & Commerce under the chairmanship of the Principal ,Prof. Prabhat Kumar Sahoo.The freshers were ignited on NEP-2020 by the lect.in Education,Mr. Nilakantha Mishra, code of conduct of the college by Commerce H.O.D, Mr. Binaya Kumar Mishra and the tips to be an ideal student by the Botany HOD.Mrs. Rajalaxmi Mohapatra. The Principal Prof.Sahoo presented the detailed information about services rendered by the college ,wings running inside college, the officer-in- charge of varied wings/ responsibilities and information about Internal Complaint Committee (ICC), Help line number 181 for protection and safe environment for the girl students and female employees of an educational complex and the newly interoduced Shakti Shree App. College level Hons. Toppers (2025 U.U.Exam.)such as Swatirekha Sahoo(Eco),Karina Mallick (Education), Sradhanjali Debata(Philosophy),Priyanka Sahoo(Pol.Sc.),Snigdharani Bhol(History),Babul Swain(Commerce),Sushree Pragnya Paramita Jena(Physics), Pratiksha Priyadarshini Deo(Zoology),Satyabrat Dash(English),Satyajit Bhuyan(Odia)Jyotirmayee Dixit(Sanskrit) were felicitated by the Principal with certificates,medals and bouquets. Programme was co-ordinated by Edn. HOD. Dr. Prados Kumar Pati,Vote of Thanks was addressed by Odia HOD Mr. Mithun Mallick. More than 150 students, Lectures like Mr Balabhadra Rath, Mr.Brajabandhu Pradhan, Mr. Ashok Kumar Subudhi, Sanskrit HOD Mr. Kelu Charan Panda, Biswanath Chuhan etc.and non- teaching staff were present.
